They were important resources for important fights and I always hesitated to use them. One thing I didn't like in the first game, which the second fixed, was how scarce the magic bar and the rage gauge felt. It's very satisfying to shred through enemies. Here, the designer show you what they want you to see and I think it for the best. I feel camera placement is sometimes looked over to let the player set it in modern games, and its annoying when your action buttons are the face buttons. You become so tiny when you enter those massive temples. Yet that means the camera will set the best view for some impressive set pieces. The game sets the camera it self to pull back the view. I must say, despite the game being a standard beat them up, I found the games to be very cinematic as well. Now I'm tackling the original trilogy on PS3. I consider this game to be the best, or at least my favorite, cinematic video game.
